Hard Hat Stickers-Hard Hat Decals

Hard had stickers are also known as decals, hard hat decals.

So what is it with putting stickers or decals on a hard hat?

Well the list is nearly endless, but here are a few of the many uses they can serve. Now the list is nowhere near exhaustive so I apologize is I have left some out. But feel free to use your imagination.  Here goes.

Identification.

If you are working on a large construction project, there can be hundreds of hard hats in the locker room. But there will only be one that you have adjusted to your exact size and will sit comfortably and safely all day long. Put your sticker on it and you will find your own hat every time.

By doing this you will also be making each and ever person responsible for their own MSA hard hat, and that in itself will mean that they will take more care of it than if they are wearing a different one each day. In the longer term this will mean that your hard hats are kept in better condition, will work better and need to be replaced less, saving money.

Hard Hat Stickers For Job Titles.

How embarrassing is it when the latest red neck tells the CEO how it really is? Do I have to go there? A simple decal on their hardhat would immediately identify the fact that the “suit” was the Big Cheese.

Make it Personal.

You want to stick out from the crowd and let everyone know what you are about. You are a Bulls fanatic perhaps, or a Giants fan, then a hardhat sticker with your team’s colours on will let everyone know where you are at. Stars and Stripes, Skull and Cross Bones, Daffy Duck, Road Runner, whatever floats your boat, they are out there, and you can get hard hat stickers custom made for this or just buy ready made off the shelf.

Promotion and Branding.

Get hard hat stickers with your corporate logo and show who you are on site. Make sure visitors wear their hats with your decal on so they don’t forget which of the many sites they are visiting that day.  You would be surprised how many photos are taken once your visitors are kitted out in PPE and your logo is front and center. This seems to happen mainly when you get the “ High Ups” coming to see how the Project is progressing.  In fact while you are at it, get your logos on the high visibility jackets too. There is no such thing as bad publicity, they say.

Safety Stickers For Hard Hats

One of the best ways of reinforcing important safety messages is to have safety stickers for hard hats made and put on every  hat. Just think about it for a second. Whilst you will only see the message once or twice on your own hardhat, every time you see someone else, the safety message will be there in front of your eyes. Very simple I know but at the same time, very effective.

Each job site and crew or gang, will have different safety messages that need to be regularly reinforced.  There is no one general safety message. Repitition is one of the best ways to get a message across, so seeing an important safety warning on the full brim hard hats of your co – workers is a great way of getting maximum exposure for that message.

Security and Tracking.

Site security is paramount nowadays.  Hard hat decals are a way of identifying who it is in what area and at what time. You can even use them to allow or deny access to certain personnel in specified zones. Now this will not be down to the hardhat decals themselves. Other technology will be required to apply the intelligence, such as CCTV, bar code readers or scanners, but you can see what is possible.

Hard hat stickers can also be used for fun and laughs, but you are missing out on the importance of them if you do not consider using them for the other more serious roles they can plan on a job, where safety comes first, second and third.
